Who we are
Vertex Data is a market-intelligence business based in Montréal, Québec, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada's PIPEDA.
Person responsible for personal information
Christian Salomon, Founder, is responsible for the protection of personal information at Vertex Data. Questions, requests and complaints can be sent to vertexauto30@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Sample request form: your name, work email, company, role, type of business, regions, markets and any notes you choose to add.
- Technical data: our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver and secure the site.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we do not sell personal information.
Why we collect it
- To prepare and send the sample brief you requested.
- To follow up with you about that sample and, if you are interested, about our services.
- To keep the site running and secure.
We use your information only for these purposes. By submitting the form, you consent to this use. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us.
Who processes it
We use service providers to run the site and prepare samples: website hosting and form handling, email delivery, workflow automation, and AI model providers that help research and write the sample brief. These providers process information on our behalf and only for these purposes. Some of them store or process data outside Québec and Canada, including in the United States. Before sharing information outside Québec, we assess whether it will receive adequate protection.
How long we keep it
We keep sample requests for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete or anonymize them, unless you become a client or ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or withdraw your consent. Write to vertexauto30@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
We limit access to personal information to the people who need it, use providers with industry-standard security, and will notify you and the authorities as required by law if a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious harm.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new date.
